Guru Harkrishan Public School was founded by Sirdar Suhel Singh in 1986, a visionary and social worker with other founding members having rich experience in the Indian system of education.

S. Suhel Singh was a great , person who spontaneously accomplished many of his goals. He was the founder of modern day Guru Harkrishan Sr. Sec. Public School, Raisinghnagar.

 He was passionate towards education and always believed in instilling moral values in the students through a strong foundation in academics. He was well known for his sharp mind, quick wit and affability.

S. Suhel, as he was called by everyone, was a true humanist who led a simple life devoid of material desire.
